A conference dedicated to the International Day of Neutrality was held in the Republic of Belarus

On December 1, 2017, a conference dedicated to the International Day of Neutrality, entitled "Creation and Progress - Turkmenistan's Foreign Policy Strategy" was held in the building of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Belarus.

Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, the CIS Executive Committee, representatives of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Minsk, permanent representatives of the CIS countries, administration and students of higher educational institutions Minsk attended the solemn event.

Opening the conference, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Belarus noted that according to the UN Resolution "International Day of Neutrality", adopted at the initiative of Turkmenistan, for the first time in history the celebration of December 12 of this day is a confirmation of the high authority of Neutral Turkmenistan and its contribution to ensuring peace, security and sustainable development.

Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, the Executive Committee of the CIS, as well as scientists from the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus made statements at the conference. They noted Turkmenistan's adherence to its international legal status and impeccable implementation of neutral, peace-loving, good-neighborly policy.

In addition, the participants of the conference were acquainted with the cultural exhibits of the exhibition in the Cultural Center of the Embassy.

During the conference, Turkmen students performed with songs praising the homeland, neutral Turkmenistan. At the end of the event, participants were shown a video about Independent Neutral Turkmenistan.
