A cultural event dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi was held in Astrakhan

On 23 August 2024, a flower laying ceremony was held at the monument of Magtymguly Fragi, located in the square of Astrakhan State University.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of External Relations of the Astrakhan Region Ilya Toropitsyn, representatives of the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Astrakhan), the artistic team headed by People's Artist of Turkmenistan Atajan Berdiyev and student youth.

As part of the ceremony, the audience was presented with performances by a creative team led by People's Artist of Turkmenistan Atajan Berdiyev, and poems by Makhtumkuli Fraghi were read out by students studying at the Astrakhan State University named after V.N. Tatishchev.
