On April 30, 2025, a creative evening entitled “Thoughts of philosophers and poets about Turkmen women” was held at the Astrakhan State University named after V.N. Tatishchev in participation of the diplomats of the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation.
The program of the event, which brought together students, teachers and members of the public, included literary compositions and musical numbers. Poems and sayings of outstanding thinkers and poets dedicated to the role and image of women in Turkmen culture were also heard.
The organizers of the creative evening emphasized that the traditional image of a Turkmen woman, associated primarily with the role of a mother and faithful wife, keeper of the family hearth, and the continuity of moral and cultural values, is becoming more significant today.
