On May 16, 2025, a scientific conference dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of the permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan was held in the city of Alanya with the joint organization of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Türkiye and the University of Alanya.
The event was attended by the head of the Alanya municipality Fatih Ürkmezer, the rector of the Alanya University Aykut Ekinci, as well as representatives of socio-political organizations, the scientific and creative community, the mass media of the Republic of Türkiye and student youth.
The speakers noted that the UN General Assembly Resolution “International Year of Peace and Trust, 2025” adopted at the initiative of Turkmenistan has become a practical embodiment of the philosophy of international relations “Dialogue is a guarantee of peace” announced by the National Leader of Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.
A thematic video dedicated to the anniversary of Turkmen Neutrality was shown to the conference participants.
At the end of the conference, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Türkiye presented the books by the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen People, published in Turkish, to the library fund of the University of Alanya.
In addition, in honor of the significant events, a photo exhibition was organized, which presented a photo panorama reflecting the success and thoughtfulness of the urban development policy of the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, aimed at improving the standard of living of the population, creating full conditions for work and rest of people.
As part of the events held in Alanya, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Türkiye M.Ishangulyyev held meetings with the head of the municipality Fatih Ürkmezer and the rector of the University of Alanya Aykut Ekinci.
