On June 27, 2025, Turkmenistan celebrate the Day of Culture and Art Workers, as well as the poetry of Magtymguly Fragi.
In this regard, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine organized a flower-laying ceremony at the monument to Magtymguly Fragi.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the creative intelligentsia, workers in culture, education and science, representatives of the local administration, heads of theaters, museums, national libraries, heads and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Ukraine, journalists, representatives of business circles, Turkmen students and the diaspora in Ukraine.
The official part of the event continued at the Embassy of Turkmenistan. In his speech, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Ukraine T.Atayev noted that the multifaceted creativity of Magtymguly Fragi covers various aspects of the life of Turkmen society.
As part of the event, poems by Magtymguly Fragi were read in Turkmen and Ukrainian.
During the event, the participants were acquainted with the exhibition, which presented collections of Fragi's poetry in Ukrainian and other foreign languages, publications about the life and work of the poet, books by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, translated into Ukrainian.
