On 24 November 2025, a briefing for representatives of the mass media was held at the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran (Mashhad). The event was dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality.
The briefing was attended by representatives of the Magtymguly Publishing Center, the “Türkmen diýar” magazine, as well as the social news services “Ülkämiz” and “Saçak”.
The event began with an exhibition organized by the Consulate General. The exhibition featured books by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as well as samples of decorative-applied and fine arts.
During the briefing, the Consul General of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran (Mashhad), G.Atayev presented to the participants a special journal prepared and published jointly by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Consulate General on the occasion of the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality.
Addressing the audience, the Consul General, emphasized that under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the country’s balanced domestic and foreign policy aimed at strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation contributes to elevating Turkmenistan’s bilateral and multilateral relations with the states of the world to increasingly higher levels.
The Consul General also provided a detailed overview of the significant efforts of Turkmenistan to promote the state policy of neutrality, as well as to strengthen peace, security, sustainable development, and the culture of trust both in the region and globally.
