

On November 24, 2025, at the India International Centre in New Delhi, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of India in collaboration with the India-Central Asia Foundation, held a seminar on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan, as well as a presentation of the book "India-Turkmenistan: Perspectives History, Culture and Economy".
The seminar was attended by representatives of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, heads and representatives of foreign embassies accredited in New Delhi, teachers and professors of the higher education institutions and scientific centers, as well as a delegation of Turkmenistan and Turkmen students studying in India.
Ambassador of Turkmenistan to India Sh.Geldynazarov in his speech highlighted the significant international events organizing in 2025 - the International Year of Peace and Trust in honor of 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan, and Turkmenistan's important international initiatives and foreign policy, supported by the world community, aimed at global peace and sustainable development.
At the seminar, Turkmen and Indian scholars emphasized the successful implementation of Turkmenistan's neutrality policy and the growing prestige of our country in the international arena. They also expressed confidence that the published book, devoted to the current and future of cooperation between Turkmenistan and India, will play a significant role in studying the culture and history of the two countries.
During the event, national decorative arts and books dedicated to the history, culture, national traditions and achievements of Turkmenistan was exhibited.
