From January 13 to 16, 2026, one of the world’s most significant exhibitions in the home textiles industry, Heimtextil 2026, was held at the Messe Frankfurt International Exhibition Center in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Heimtextil is a key event for manufacturers, designers, suppliers, and buyers of textile solutions for homes, hotels, offices, retail chains, and other commercial spaces. This year, the exhibition hosted over 3,000 exhibitors from more than 65 countries, representing a wide range of products — from home and decorative textiles to solutions for the hospitality and contract sectors.
At the national pavilion of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Textile Industry showcased a rich range of products from national manufacturers made of natural cotton, highlighting the high quality, creative potential, and modern trends in the development of Turkmenistan’s textile sector.
The Turkmen delegation was headed by Nurmuhammet Orazgeldiyev, Minister of Textile Industry, who conducted a number of meetings with foreign partners, business representatives, and potential buyers, focusing on the development of mutually beneficial cooperation and the expansion of export ties. As a result of these meetings, agreements on supplies were reached, and a number of mutually advantageous deals were concluded for the export of Turkmen textiles abroad.
Participation in Heimtextil 2026 provided another valuable opportunity to promote Turkmen products on the international market, strengthen business contacts, exchange experience, and implement innovations. Such an active presence at global industry forums reflects Turkmenistan’s commitment to integration into the global economy, attracting investment, and expanding the export potential of the light industry.
