On 28 January 2026, an event dedicated to the proclamation of the national motto for the year – “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan − the homeland of purposeful heavenly horses” – was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kyrgyz Republic. As part of the meeting, a presentation of the new book by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov «Neutrality of Turkmenistan – a bright way of peace and trust” also took place.
The event was attended by representatives of the Turkmen diaspora and Turkmen students studying at higher education institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In their speeches, participants gave a detailed account of the significance of the declared motto for further strengthening the country’s sovereignty and international standing. It was noted that the deep symbolism of the image of winged horses embodies the dynamic development and high aspirations of modern Turkmenistan.
Special attention was given to an analysis of the new book by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. Speakers emphasized its contribution to understanding the principles of neutrality as a foundation for peace, trust, and sustainable progress. The relevance of the ideas presented in the work for shaping a constructive foreign policy and developing good-neighborly relations was also highlighted.
Participants expressed confidence that the 2026 motto would become a powerful impetus for strengthening Turkmenistan’s position on the global stage and would contribute to the promotion of its peaceful course.
The event concluded with a lively discussion, during which students and members of the diaspora expressed pride in the achievements of their Motherland.
