On 20th February 2023, the inauguration ceremony of the Regional Connectivity Desk for Central Asia and Azerbaijan was held at the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI).
Mr. Saqib Rafiq, President, Leaders of RCCI, Zahid Latif Khan, Chairman of the Asian Institute of Eco-Civilization Research and Development, Ambassadors of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, representatives of business community and mass media took part in the inauguration ceremony.
Speakers of the event advocated the enhancement of trade-economic cooperation in the region through regional connectivity and networking at the chamber of commerce and industry level. For this purpose, a specific Desk was established in the RCCI that will facilitate business-to-business contacts in the region to promote trade, economic, and investment ties.
At the exhibition Stand of the Desk, along with demonstrated materials regarding regional countries, there were also displayed magazines about Neutral Turkmenistan, its positive foreign policy, international significant events taking place in the country, as well as brochures on Turkmen state and private companies.
