On October 22-23, 2018, the delegation of Turkmenistan paid a working visit to Tokyo, capital of Japan.
During the visit, the delegation had a meeting with the head and members of Turkmen-Japanese committee on economic cooperation.
In the course of visit, the delegation of Turkmenistan was received by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Moreover, there were bilateral meetings between the heads of foreign ministries, parliaments, and energy, transport, trade and economy sectors of the two countries.
As the result of the effective talks the parties discussed the latest developments in mutual beneficial Turkmen-Japanese relations and prospects of them in future. They have specifically discussed next important projects to be implemented jointly in Turkmenistan.
The parties signed wide range of bilateral documents related to above mentioned directions.
