On November 20, 2018, a creative evening was held in Vienna, Austria, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Turkmen-Austrian Society, organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan together with the Society.
Representatives of the Austrian ministries and agencies, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Vienna, members of the Turkmen-Austrian Society, Austrian business community, Vienna Diplomatic Academy, Turkmen students studying in universities of Austria, journalists of print and electronic publications attended the event dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Turkmen-Austrian Society.
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Austria, as well as President of the Austrian-Turkmen Society Dr. Nedа Berger made speeches at the event.
In their speeches, they highly appreciated the policy of Turkmenistan and Austria in the development of the cultural and humanitarian sphere between the two countries, which contributes to the maintenance of open and close relations. The importance of the work of the Society, contributing to the further development of relations, was also emphasized.
The speakers emphasised about the priorities of Turkmenistan and Austria in bilateral and multilateral relations, as well as the current level and prospects of cooperation between the two states, in particular, in the political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian fields.
During the evening a presentation of the new issue of the magazine of the Turkmen-Austrian society “Galkynysh” also took place.
The main protocol part of the event was followed by musical performances of famous Turkmen artists. At the end of the evening, the guests were invited to a reception, where they could taste the Turkmen national cuisine.
