On the 22nd of April 2019, a meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan Seyed Mohammad Ahmadi was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
In the beginning of the meeting, the parties noted the high level of Turkmen-Iranian ties realized under the wise leadership of the Presidents of two brotherly countries. The multilateral development of cooperation in political, economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres was noted.
Speaking about fruitful cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of two states, the parties discussed the details of the upcoming visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif to Turkmenistan.
