The meeting with the delegation of ICRC was held at the MFA of Turkmenistan

On June 14, 2019 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan there was a meeting with the delegation, headed by Nicolas Fleury, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) operations coordinator for Europe and Central Asia, who has arrived to Ashgabat on a working visit.

At the beginning of the meeting there was a brief overview of the current activities of the ICRC in the world and around the region. Then the sides exchanged their views on the global and regional issues of humanitarian character.

During the negotiations the sides discussed current state and questions of performance of the cooperation plans between the Government of Turkmenistan and ICRC, and also current and possible directions of further interactions, which are represented by the both sides.
