On October 8, 2019, a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Turkmenistan V.V.Beskosty was held in the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Belarus. In particular, the parties discussed the development of cooperation within the framework of authoritative regional and international organizations, primarily the UN, OSCE and the CIS.
The parties emphasized the importance of deepening mutually beneficial ties at the interstate, intergovernmental, as well as inter-parliamentary levels. Diplomats also touched upon issues of further interaction between the two states in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.
