Representatives of the UN and government agencies of Turkmenistan discussed a number of key issues

On April 9, 2020, a meeting of representatives of the United Nations and its divisions with representatives of several ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, including the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Health and Medical Industry, Finance and Eeconomics, was held in the UN building in Ashgabat.

During the meeting, participants discussed a number of key issues of mutual interest. The parties exchanged views on the regional and global agenda. In particular, they considered preventive measures to combat the spread of infectious diseases, strengthening the material and technical base, which is harmoniously combined with the state programs of Turkmenistan to protect the health and welfare of the population.
