On December 11, 2020, the ceremony of awarding the medals dedicated “To the 25th anniversary of the Neutrality of Turkmenistan” was held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
As is known, on March 14, 2020, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Law of Turkmenistan on the establishment of the jubilee medal of Turkmenistan "Türkmenistanyň Bitaraplygynyň 25 ýyllygyna" (To the 25th anniversary of the Neutrality of Turkmenistan).
High awards were awarded not only to citizens of Turkmenistan, but also of foreign countries for their multiyear conscientious work that made a great contribution to the political, socio-economic, spiritual and cultural development of Turkmenistan, strengthening its independence and status of permanent Neutrality.
The list of persons who received high awards includes diplomats, extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassadors, as well as prominent political figures.
