Diplomatic relations have been established between Turkmenistan and the Republic of the Congo
On May 21, 2021, in the building of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation in Moscow there was the ceremony of signing the Protocol on the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of the Congo.
Prior to the signing ceremony, the talks were held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation Batyr Nivazliyev and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Congo to the Russian Federation David Maduka. The parties exchanged views on the issues of international agenda, as well as discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation, including in the spheres of education, science, culture and sports.
