Head of the MFA of Turkmenistan had a meeting with the Minister of Oil of Iran

On October 26, 2021 within the framework of the visit to the IRI the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov had a meeting with the Minister of Oil of the Islamic Republic of Iran Javad Owji.

During the constructive talk the parties noted huge potential of Turkmenistan and Iran in the sphere of energy and expressed satisfaction for mutual support of the sides of significant initiatives of each other in this field within the framework of regional and international structures.

The sides discussed actual issues of interaction of the parties in the energy field. It was expressed the need of further activation of sectoral cooperation of specialized agencies of the two countries.
