On November 26, 2021, in Ashgabat within the framework of the 25th meeting of the Council of Ministers (COM) of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) the negotiations between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan Rashid Meredov and Abdulaziz Kamilov were held.
Diplomats discussed a number of key issues of bilateral agenda in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian fields with the special emphasis on regional cooperation.
During the constructive talk the sides considered interaction of the two countries in the frame of the UN, ECO, IFAS and others. The positive dynamics of mutual support of the initiatives and undertakings within the framework of international structures aimed at ensuring global peace, security and development was expressed.
