On August 11, 2022, a solemn ceremony was held at the Sefako Makgato Presidential Reception House for Distinguished Guests, where Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan B.Rejepov presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to South Africa (with residence in Nur-Sultan).
During the ceremony, Ambassador of Turkmenistan B.Rejepov conveyed greetings and warm wishes to the head of South Africa from the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
President S. Ramaphosa congratulated the Ambassador of Turkmenistan on the beginning of his diplomatic mission and asked him to convey greetings and best wishes for peace and prosperity to the leadership and people of friendly Turkmenistan.
During the conversation, the great potential of cooperation between the two countries in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres was noted.
