Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman

On September 7, 2022, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamud Al-Busaidi.

The parties discussed the current state of the Turkmen-Omani cooperation in various areas. Also during the meeting, the importance of intensifying the work of the Working Committee of the Agreement between the Governments of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Oman and Qatar on the creation of an international transport and transit corridor was noted.

Diplomats also exchanged views on topical areas of the regional and international agenda.
