Discussion of the prospects for Turkmen-Qatari cooperation

On October 7, 2022, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan B. Myatiev met with Chargé d'Affaires of the State of Qatar Mohammed Meskhel Al-Otaibi.

During the meeting the diplomats discussed topical issues on the agenda of bilateral cooperation.

The importance of contacts at the highest and high levels in the development of interstate relations was noted. In this regard, the possibilities of organizing the visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the State of Qatar were discussed.

The need for further improvement of the legal framework of bilateral cooperation was also underlined.

In addition, the parties considered issues of expanding cooperation in trade, economic and investment areas.
