A meeting was held at the MFA of Turkmenistan with members of the business delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran
On May 27, 2024, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and members of the business delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state and promising areas of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. It was noted that there are great opportunities for deepening relations in trade, investment, industry, and that is why it is necessary to intensify all mechanisms for the development of bilateral cooperation in these areas. The sides emphasized that the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Iranian Commission on Economic Cooperation occupies a special place in this work.
