Meeting with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Turkmenistan

On 18 September 2024, a meeting was held in the premises of the MFA of Turkmenistan between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Turkmenistan Qian Naicheng.

During the meeting, the sides discussed key aspects of bilateral partnership in political, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The interlocutors noted the effectiveness of cooperation within the “Central Asia-China” format. The sides also discussed preparations for joint events scheduled for this year.
