Current issues of Turkmen-Iranian partnership were discussed

On April 28, 2025, within the framework of the First High-Level Forum on Sustainable Development in the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) region, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with Vice President, Head of the Planning and Budget Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyyed Hamid Pourmohammadi.

The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. Interest was expressed in increasing trade turnover between the two neighboring countries.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the development of partnership in areas of mutual interest.
