Presentation of the book "Turkmenistan - heart of the Great Silk Road" was held in Kyrgyzstan




On November 28, 2017, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kyrgyz Republic together with the Kyrgyz State University named after I.Arabayev conducted a solemn presentation of the book of the President of Turkmenistan "Turkmenistan - heart of the Great Silk Road".

The event was attended by the heads and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the Kyrgyz Republic, the representative of the Humanitarian Association of the World's Turkmen in the Kyrgyz Republic, professors and experts of higher educational institutions, representatives of the media, as well as citizens of Turkmenistan, students and working in the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the solemn presentation the rector of KSU named after I.Arabayev T.A.Abdirakhmanov, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the KR, the director of the First Political Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic K.Tursunkulov, the Ambassador of Afghanistan M.Mesbah, the Ambassador of China Xiao Qinghua, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan A. Bozhigitov, the representative of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmen in the Kyrgyz Republic B.Tuilieva, the pro-rector on scientific work of the KRSU named after Yeltsin V.M. Lelevkin, Professor Kaana Aidarkul, Professor of KSU named after M.Arabaev M.M. Amerdinova and the master student of the KRSU named after Yeltsin R. Saparov.

Speakers at the solemn event, noting the content, chapters, features and other significant aspects of the book published in three languages, Turkmen, English and Russian, told that the new work of the head of the Turkmen state is addressed to a wide readership. The title of the book, which was chosen by the Council of Elders in the motto of 2018, reflects the concept of modern development of Turkmenistan, based on historical experience, traditions of peacemaking and good-neighborliness, honoring the spiritual heritage of the Turkmen people, their aspiration to regional and global integration and progress.

During the speech at the presentation it was noted that the book contains a map on which the routes stretching from the South to the North from the East to the West are widely revealed, which in turn shows that Turkmenistan today has an important role in creating intercontinental transport cooperation in different directions.

In addition, the presentation highlighted the issue of the emergence of new trade routes and directions, the role of modern Turkmenistan, which has become an integral part of international transport corridors, the foundations of which were laid back at the time of the Silk Road and are successfully developing to this day.

At the end of the event, the participants were presented with copies of the new book of the President of Turkmenistan in Russian.
