Key aspects of Turkmen-Chinese cooperation discussed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

On 14 August 2025, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Turkmenistan Ji Shumin.

At the meeting, the sides noted with satisfaction the high level of development of Turkmen-Chinese relations in all areas of mutual interest.

The importance of regular dialogue at the highest political level was emphasized, which serves as a key factor in strengthening bilateral ties between Turkmenistan and the PRC.

In this regard, the parties discussed preparations for upcoming visits and meetings in both bilateral and multilateral formats.
