A meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye was held at the MFA of Turkmenistan

On September 17, 2025, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Turkmenistan, Ahmet Demirok.

During the meeting, the parties discussed priority areas of the Turkmen-Turkish agenda and other pressing issues of mutual interest regarding cooperation.

Particular attention was paid to the two countries' interaction within international organizations. In particular, the sides noted the importance of joint work within UNESCO to support and promote intangible cultural heritage.
