Issues of Turkmen-Japanese cooperation discussed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan
On 9 October 2025, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova had a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Turkmenistan Hiroshi Sasaki.
During the meeting, the sides noted the high level of development of Turkmen-Japanese relations in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The parties discussed opportunities for strengthening cooperation within international organisations, primarily the UN.
The diplomats confirmed the interest of both countries in further development of the partnership in all areas of mutual interest.
