The Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Algeria held a telephone conversation

On November 17, 2025, a telephone conversation was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Ahmed Attaf.

During the conversation, the diplomats discussed issues on the bilateral agenda and exchanged views on expanding Turkmen-Algerian cooperation in key areas of mutual interest.

Constructive interaction between the two states within international structures, primarily within the framework of the United Nations, was noted.

The ministers also discussed preparations for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, scheduled for December 12, 2025, in Ashgabat.
