On November 22, 2025, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova Mihai Popșoi.
During the conversation, the sides discussed current and prospective areas of bilateral relations.
Particular attention was paid to the effective cooperation between Turkmenistan and Moldova within international organizations, primarily the United Nations.
It was noted that a representative delegation from the Republic of Moldova actively participated in the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC-3), held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone in August of this year.
The ministers also discussed issues related to the organization of the International Forum of Peace and Trust, which will be held in Ashgabat on December 12 this year in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality, the International Year of Peace and Trust, and International Neutrality Day.
