

On December 12, 2025, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The head of state warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and expressed gratitude for accepting the invitation to participate in the International Forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, International Neutrality Day, and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality.
Having sincerely congratulated President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the successful holding of the International Forum, as well as on the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality, the President of the Russian Federation highly praised Turkmenistan's foreign policy.
Emphasizing that the development of strategic cooperation with the Russian Federation remains one of Turkmenistan's foreign policy priorities, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the traditionally friendly relations between our countries are based on long-standing ties of friendship, trust, and mutual understanding.
During the meeting, the head of state confirmed Turkmenistan's readiness for further comprehensive, multifaceted cooperation with the Russian Federation and expressed confidence in the further development and strengthening of Turkmen-Russian relations for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Russian President Vladimir Putin wished each other all the best.
