On December 17, 2025, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova met with the founder and President of the consulting company “FIT International” Kurt Edwards.
At the beginning of the meeting, the head of “FIT International” congratulated the Turkmen side and expressed appreciation for the traditional invitation to take part in the celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of the Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan, noting the importance and effectiveness of the high-level International Forum held on December 12 of the current year in Ashgabat.
The sides noted the long-standing positive experience of cooperation with “FIT International,” which has taken part in the organization of thematic events dedicated to landmark occasions of Turkmenistan.
Particular attention was paid to issues related to the preparation of a plan of joint cultural and educational events scheduled to be held in 2026 in celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Independence of Turkmenistan.
An exchange of views also took place on matters related to the organization in the United States of America, jointly with the Embassy of Turkmenistan, of a presentation of the book of the President of Turkmenistan “Türkmenistanyň Bitaraplygy – parahatçylygyň we ynanyşmagyň aýdyň ýoly.”
In addition, the meeting touched upon issues of developing cooperation along the humanitarian line, with an emphasis on establishing relations between the Charity Fund for Providing Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and relevant organizations of the United States.
