The President of Turkmenistan sent condolences to the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent his condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, and the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, in connection with the explosion at a mosque in Islamabad, which resulted in numerous casualties and injuries.

“Strongly condemning any manifestations of terrorism and extremism, Turkmenistan fully supports the efforts of the international community to counter and eradicate this evil,” the message stated.

On behalf of the people and government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, the head of state expressed his sincere condolences and conveyed words of support at this difficult time to the families and friends of those who died, and wishes for a speedy recovery to those who were injured.
