The President of Turkmenistan had meeting with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

On August 24, 2018, the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon who has arrived in Turkmenbashi to participate in States-founders IFAS Summit.

In the course of meeting based on mutual trust, the Heads of States noted that they have every intention of further strenghthening and developing the existing bilatreal relations in politics, diplomacy, trade, economy, energy, transport, water diplomacy, culture and humanitarian area.
