A meeting with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China was held at the MFA of Turkmenistan

On January 22, 2022, a meeting took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Turkmenistan Qian Naicheng.

During the talk the parties, having expressed satisfaction on the current pace of development of bilateral partnership on a broad range, highlighted that this year Turkmen-Chinese diplomatic relations entered the jubilee stage.

Within the framework of the meeting the issues connected to the forthcoming events on the highest level with the participation of the heads of states were discussed, particularly, the “China – Central Asian states” summit and the opening of XXIV Winter Olympic Games in Beijing.
