On March 17, 2024, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the State of Qatar M.Seyitmammedov met with the rector of the Qatar University of Science and Technology Salem Al Nuaimi.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed joint steps to expand cooperation in the field of science, and also discussed the results of meetings of representatives of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, who recently visited the State of Qatar on a working visit.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides touched upon the topic of joint participation in various international scientific conferences and Olympiads held both in Turkmenistan and Qatar in 2024.
The parties agreed to explore the possibilities of intensifying bilateral contacts, including by organizing cultural events between the Qatar University of Science and Technology and the Embassy this year as part of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen philosopher Magtymguly Fragi.
