The Lipetsk regional organization of the all-Russian public organization "Union of Writers of Russia" together with the Presidential Academy of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (РАНХиГС) and with the support of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation organized and held online on March 21, 2024 the International Scientific Conference "The Influence of Magtymguly Fragi" on Russian literature" dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the classic of Turkmen literature and thinker of the East Magtymguly Fragi.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation E.Aydogdyev and the Director of the Institute of Finance and Sustainable Development, Vice-Rector of the Presidential Academy of Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration A.Margolin spoke at the International Scientific Conference.
Scientists from Turkmenistan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Pakistan took part in the online conference. Scientists, teachers and students of Academy branches in the regions of the Russian Federation also joined the conference online. Numerous students from Turkmenistan studying at universities in the Lipetsk region also took an active part.
Turkmenistan was represented by scientists from the Magtymguly Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, scientists, teachers and students of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the Dovletmammed Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the International University of Humanities and development.
The speakers noted that in many countries of the world, including the Russian Federation, today they know and love the work of Magtymguly, there are many fans, specialists and experts of the classic of Turkmen literature and the thinker of the East, who in his work sang patriotism, humanism, justice, and friendship of peoples. In this sense, Magtymguly Fragi was an internationalist in the highest and purest sense of the word.
