On March 6, 2025, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Azerbaijan organized an event at the Magtymguly Fraghi Center of Turkmen Literature at the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.
It was attended by the leadership of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, researchers and Turkmen students studying in the country.
Special attention was paid to the significance of Turkmenistan’s policy of positive neutrality and its application as a constructive mechanism in strengthening peace and stability in the world. The participants of the meeting discussed peace-loving initiatives of Turkmenistan within the UN framework.
The presentation of the book “Magtymguly – the Sage of the World” by the esteemed President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took place at the event.
The participants of the meeting got acquainted with the content of the book and highly appraised the scientific and historical information about the life and works of Magtymguly Fraghi, who called for unity of the Turkmen people. The book emphasizes the importance of education and science in the development of neutral Turkmenistan.
