On September 15, 2025, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan A. Movlamov met with the Secretary General of the International Parliamentarians Congress (IPC), Senator Ms. Sitara Ayaz.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for intensifying and expanding bilateral cooperation, with a focus on strengthening inter-parliamentary relations and facilitating the exchange of experience between the parliamentarians of IPC and the Mejlis of Turkmenistan. Special attention was given to establishing sustainable channels of dialogue to ensure more effective coordination on issues of mutual interest.
Both sides emphasized the importance of regular contact and reciprocal visits between representatives of the two countries' legislative bodies, recognizing their role in building trust and fostering mutual understanding.
The participants expressed confidence that the continued development of inter-parliamentary ties would provide a solid foundation for enhancing cooperation in both regional and international contexts.
