On September 17, 2025, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosted a roundtable discussion dedicated to the proclamation of 2025 as the "International Year of Peace and Trust" and the upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.
Representatives of the Turkmen diaspora living in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as diplomatic mission staff, participated in the event.
The event provided detailed information on the large-scale events being held in Turkmenistan to commemorate 2025, which has been declared the Year of International Peace and Trust.
The roundtable participants emphasized the special significance for Turkmenistan and the Turkmen people of holding the next meeting of the Halk Maslahaty on September 19, 2025, in Ashgabat.
The roundtable concluded with a video screening highlighting Turkmenistan's achievements in various fields and its significant contribution to strengthening international peace and stability.
