On 4 November 2025, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Indonesia (with residence in Kuala Lumpur) M Mashalov, and the Director of the Protocol and Consular Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Andy Rahmianto. Ambassador M.Mashalov presented copies of his credentials.
The Indonesian side congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to this responsible position, wished him every success, and expressed its readiness to provide assistance and support in the fulfillment of his diplomatic duties.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of high-level negotiations in the development of intergovernmental dialogue and discussed the possibilities of organizing visits and meetings between the Heads of State of the two countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain regular contacts between the foreign ministries of the two countries with a view to further strengthening cooperation between Turkmenistan and Indonesia.
