On 12 December 2025, a ceremonial event dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, the International Neutrality Day, and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality was held at the premises of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Federal Republic of Germany.
The event was attended by representatives of the “Willkommen in Berlin” organization of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, as well as members of diplomatic missions accredited in Berlin and representatives of public and cultural circles.
During the official part of the event, speakers emphasized the special significance of the International Year of Peace and Trust, the International Neutrality Day, and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality. It was noted that numerous international conferences and forums are being held in Turkmenistan and abroad to mark these significant dates, contributing to the strengthening of dialogue, mutual trust, and sustainable peace. Particular attention was paid to Turkmenistan’s role in the international arena and its active peacebuilding activities carried out on the basis of its legal status of permanent neutrality.
As part of the event, participants were also presented with video materials and photographs showcasing Turkmenistan’s achievements in various fields, as well as the country’s rich historical and cultural heritage. Guests were offered traditional Turkmen national dishes, which aroused great interest and received a warm response.
At the conclusion of the event, participants warmly congratulated the Government of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen people on the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, expressing their sincere wishes for peace, prosperity, and continued success.
