On March 4, 2026, in Bishkek, in honor of the proclamation of 2026 under the motto “Independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan – homeland of purposeful heavenly horses,” the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kyrgyz Republic held an educational lecture at the Kyrgyz-Turkish University “Manas.” The event was attended by representatives of the teaching staff and students of the university.
During the meeting, participants were provided with detailed information about the meaning of the motto for 2026. It was noted that in the era of the rebirth of the Epoch of the Revival of a new era of powerful state, thanks to the initiatives and consistent activities of the Hero Arkadag and the President of Turkmenistan, special attention is paid to the development of national culture, as well as the preservation and enhancement of the glory of Akhal-Teke horses, the pride of Turkmenistan.
It was emphasized that the Turkmen horse is an integral material and spiritual value of the people, as well as a symbol of their historical heritage. Separate attention was paid to the comprehensive work being carried out in Turkmenistan on the scientific study of Akhal-Teke horses, the popularization of the breed, and the promotion of its authority in the international arena.
Participants in the event noted that Akhal-Teke horses are rightly considered one of the most valuable breeds in the world and are held in special esteem in Turkmenistan. Particular attention was paid to the historical role of the Akhal-Teke people in shaping Turkmen identity and their contribution to global horse breeding. Examples were given of the outstanding qualities of Akhal-Teke horses, including endurance, grace, and high intelligence, which confirm their uniqueness.
At the end of the event, a video dedicated to Akhal-Teke horses was shown, vividly reflecting their beauty, power, and harmony.
