On March 13, 2026, a presentation of the upcoming Turkmen-Chinese Investment Forum, scheduled for April 28-30 this year in Ashgabat, was held in Beijing. The event was organized by the China Overseas Development Association (CODA) with the support of the Embassy of Turkmenistan to the People’s Republic of China and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
In his remarks, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the People’s Republic of China P.Durdyev highlighted Turkmenistan’s investment attractiveness, emphasizing the stability of macroeconomic indicators and unprecedented incentives for foreign partners.
Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan delivered a presentation outlining concrete cases and priority projects in key sectors, including raw material processing and exports, transport and logistics, as well as China’s integration into transit corridors through Turkmenistan.
The forum concluded with a direct negotiation session, where Chinese entrepreneurs had the opportunity to discuss cooperation with the Turkmen side.
