On November 7, 2023, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia D.Seyitmammedov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia I.Darchiashvili.
During the meeting, diplomats discussed priority areas of Turkmen-Georgian cooperation and prospects for further interaction on a wide range of bilateral relations. It was noted that in recent years, interstate cooperation has been successfully developing on the basis of the principles of mutual respect, trust and openness.
The parties emphasized that the policy of permanent neutrality pursued by the President of Turkmenistan clearly confirms its relevance and demand in strengthening international cooperation.
Attention was also paid to the issues of organizing high-level visits, as well as holding regular political consultations between the foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and Georgia in Ashgabat in the near future.
