On October 29, 2018, the opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Croatia in Turkmenistan was held in Ashgabat and within their framework there was a photo exhibition dedicated to the intangible cultural heritage of a friendly state.
The official opening ceremony of the Days of Culture and Photo Exhibition was held at the State Museum of Fine Arts, where representatives of the creative intelligentsia, the media and student youth gathered.
The participants of the celebration expressed their gratitude to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic for a peaceful political course, contributing to the expansion of humanitarian dialogue and mutual understanding between the two peoples.
The photo exhibition, organized by the Ethnographic Museum, located in the city of Zagreb, tells about the original traditions and customs of various regions of a friendly country, which are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
On October 30, the official delegation of the Republic of Croatia will be received at the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan. The guests will be informed about the priorities of the Turkmen state policy in the field of culture, preservation and promotion of heritage, development of international cooperation in the humanitarian field.
Within the framework of the Days of Culture, the works of Croatian cinematographers will be presented at the Ashgabat cinema, and a concert of Croatian pianists will be held at the Mukam Palace.
