On June 28, 2019, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco in Turkmenistan (with residence in Nur-Sultan) Abdeljalil Saubri, who is starting his diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco presented copies of his credentials. During the exchange of views on the current state and prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation, the parties expressed their mutual interest in the development of comprehensive cooperation in the fields of transport, sea traffic, and tourism. The importance of intensifying the interstate dialogue in the framework of authoritative international organizations, primarily the UN, was also noted.
Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment to a responsible post, the Turkmen side wished success in strengthening friendship and enhancing cooperation between Turkmenistan and Morocco, and expressed willingness to assist and support the activities of the Ambassador in strengthening bilateral cooperation. In his turn, the Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the Turkmen side for warm wishes.
