On July 20, 2019, the International Exhibition “Health 2019” opened at the Expocenter of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, within the framework of which a scientific conference on the development of the medical sphere is held.
The opening ceremony of the forum began with performances by creative groups that gave a festive mood to the event. Heads of the ministries and sectoral departments of Turkmenistan, representatives of international organizations, the media and foreign medical specialists were among the guests of the celebration.
Then the greeting message of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the participants of the international forum was read.
In addition to traditional partners of Turkmenistan, for the first time 21 companies presented their products at the exhibition. Review of the achievements of medical science and practice has become an important component in the development of the national health care system of Turkmenistan.
At the exhibition site consultation points are working where one can get advice from experts on the prevention of certain diseases.
The exhibition included the presentation of the 11th volume of the fundamental work of the President of the country, Academician of the Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Medicinal Plants of Turkmenistan”.
The participants' speeches were preceded by a solemn ceremony - the presentation of the UNICEF Certificate to the Government of Turkmenistan in the person of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry for maintaining high rates of immunization of children in the country through the Government-funded National Immunization Program.
The program of the international scientific conference "Health 2019" included sectional meetings on various areas of modern medicine.
In addition, during the exhibition, briefings and presentations of advanced developments of foreign companies in various areas of medicine, the latest methods of diagnosis and treatment of diseases are held. Foreign participants will also visit the medical institutions of our country, where they will get acquainted with the directions of their activities, topics of research works, and exchange views on professional topics.
The exhibition and scientific conference "Health 2019" will continue its work on July 22.
